Mr. Assis is the Associate Band Director at Azle High School, beginning his first year in the role. A 2024 graduate of Texas Christian University, he plays bassoon, saxophone, and euphonium.

In 2023, Assis performed with the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, 21-time DCI champions. His passion for music and desire to make a positive impact led him to pursue a career in music education. Drawn to Azle’s strong, family-like community, he is excited to contribute to the program and inspire the next generation of musicians.
